Hey guys, it’s Matty P here. Today I’m reporting on an attack. There appears to be an T-Rex devouring a Raptor. The raptor couldn’t even put up a fight. With the T-Rex’s 6.2L surcharged V8 producing over 700 horsepower chewing up the Raptor’s turbo-charged V6 only capable of 450 horsepower. These mighty and powerful T-Rexs might wipe the raptors into extinction before a meteor does.

One a real note: the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is no “run of the mill” pickup truck. In fact the TRX frame developed by Ram is 76% unique to the TRX variant. This truck also doesn’t feel like a truck: it’s like a rocket ship tank that weighs in at 6866 pounds that gets from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and flies down the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds at 110 mph.

This current generation Ford Raptor was released in 2016 and is only available with a highly efficient and powerful twin turbo-charged V6 producing 450 horsepower and 510 pound feet of torque. This half ton truck is the off-road baja version of the Ford F-150. The Ford Raptor basically invented the off-road performance on-road light duty trucks. Introductions from Chevrolet’s Silverado LT Trail Boss, GMC’s Sierra AT4, Ram Powerwagon, Ford F-150 Trebel and now the Ram TRX. Unfortunately for Ford they have created a kingdom that they longer hold the thrown to.

Hey guys, Matty P here. We have to talk about the amazing value and performance out of the all redesigned mid engine Chevrolet Corvette. This mid-engine design has been long awaited for since the first mid-engine concept in 1964. The engine placement behind the driver reduces the distance between the engine and drive wheels, creating a more planted and precise car.

Chevrolet’s new C8 Corvette is paired with a 6.2L V8 that speeds from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, which is truly supercar territory. The value of Chevrolet’s top performance model starts with the base 1LT model starting at $58,900 which has the same engine and transmission that gets from 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds (difference due to equipped all-season tire). The switch from front engine to mid-engine brought this performance car from a street monster to a quick supercar with the supercar cost. While similar performing Porsches, Ferraris, Mercedes Benz AMGs and BMW M cars costing well above six figures the American brand keeps prices affordable and honors previous concepts from a historic name-plate.

Hey guys, it’s Matty P here. Today’s scoop is on a big SUV with a small carbon footprint. All large car manufacturers have to pass government fuel economy regulations every years. With regulations getting more strict as years go on manufacturers fight to pump out as many vehicles as possible with the smallest fuel impact so they can continue to produce performance and luxury vehicles that are less fuel-conscious and can charge a premium. Chevrolet is car manufacturer still largely using fuel thirsty V8’s and needs to improve fuel economy averages across their lineup. General Motors (the parent company) is attempt to solve that by offering best in-class fuel effeciency in the brand new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe with the 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine.

This engine, now offered across General Motors light and heavy duty body-on-frame vehicles, offers an EPA-estimated 28 highway, 21 city and 24 combined mpg in rear-wheel-drive models. Along with EPA-estimated fuel economy for four-wheel drive models is 26 highway, 20 city and 22 combined mpg. Offering a fuel efficient diesel engine engine option now gives customer the opportunity to choose their needs whether that’s acceleration performance, towing performance, off-roading performance, durability and accessibility. The all-new Tahoe offers three engines including the 5.3L gas-powered V8, 6.2L gas-powered V8 and the 3.0L turbo-diesel inline-six.

Though most people may not think 26 mpg is very fuel efficient. But when compared to the other large SUVs, like the Ford Expedition which gets 19 mpg and the Toyota Sequoia which only get 15 mpg, the Chevrolet’s fuel efficiency towers the competitors. This vehicle is meant for long road trips packed with people and cargo, better fuel efficiency supports longer trips from this best-selling nameplate.

Hey guys, Matty P here. This year has been filled with automotive news, from redesigns, advancements, and new unveiling. As domestic brands switch primarily away from cars and towards SUVs and trucks. Like Fiat-Chrysler’s brands (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) only offering 3 car models out of 30 total models, General Motors brands (Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac) offering 7 different cars models out of their 38 total models and Ford Motor Company’s brands (Ford, Lincoln) offering only 2 car models out of 29 total models. As the US car market shrinks, the American SUV and truck market exploded with more on-road and off-road variants than you can dream of. 

One of the most stylish vehicles to be unveiled was the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which is a returning nameplate from Jeep’s lineup from 1962 till 1991. This Jeep is placed as the largest, most luxurious model in Jeep’s lineup. This three-row SUV is placed to compete directly with the other big mainstream SUVs of America: the Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Ford Expedition. Though Jeep would like this vehicle to compete with the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator, journalists alike say product quality, build quality, and amount of equipment from the concept doesn’t have the same level of craftsmanship or feel. Truly that can not be determined until the Grand Wagoneer actual production models.

The big beast of a vehicle does use the similar theory of General Motors and Ford with their body-on-frame vehicles; take the company’s light-duty truck frame and make it a full cabin hatch back. Utilizing the Ram 1500-based platform and three-row arrangement.

The Grand Wagoneer will also come in different wheelbase variants differentiating between Jeep’s Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Jeep is using the Wagoneer and grand Wagoneer as a sub brand under Jeep, like the Ford Bronco “family”.

Hey guys it’s Matty P here, Today I have something amazing to talk about. I know I have mentioned the company Rivian in the past but, finally I will be talking about 2021 Rivian R1T. This Electric truck screams luxury. It has such a futuristic look to it. I am obsessed with it. It is said to be the world’s most aerodynamic truck. The exterior is sleek. Everything is so cohesive. The cool thing about this car’s exterior is that the front end it’s dominated by this LED light bar. This will be perfect for the outdoorsmen on dark nights. Another interesting thing about this is that it turns green when you charge the car. Along with the light bar there are also two oval LED lights in the front for better visibility of the road. This truck also is equipt for maximum storage which is perfect for the people who love outdoor sports. It has so many storage places. There is a frunk which is in the front of the truck. This area is designed to store about 12 cubic feet of storage. What an innovation from engine powered trucks that could never do that. The truck also has a storage area under the cab of the truck. This storage place is perfect for you to put your snowboard, surfboard, or even golf clubs. The things you can take with you are endless. The interior is just as interesting as the exterior. The Rivian will have two LED screens that allow you to have different amenities in the car such as GPS among other stuff. There are rumors saying that they might have an Amazon team up with Rivan and have an Alexa built into the truck. That would be crazy. Allow the driver to use the interface of the car without taking their eyes off the road. Now let’s talk about the good stuff. The Rivian R1T battery will last up to 400 miles on one charge. Which is amazing for an electric truck. Along with that it is said that the truck can go from 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds. Not only is this truck fast but it is built for off-roading. It will be your off roading best friend. Each of its wheels are equipped with its own electric motor. This allows for maximum control and torque. This also allows for the truck to climb a 45 degree incline easily. Rivian is a small up coming company but they sure made a statement with this truck. The Rivian R1T is one to be feared by other electric truck companies.
